Ingredients:
- 1 large can of tomato juice
- 2-3 cans of tomato soup
- 3 green peppers
- 2 lbs of ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 tst onion powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup uncooked rice
- 8oz sour cream
- Directions:
- mix rice, meat, onion powder and egg.
- cut off tops of peppers ( I add the tops to the kettle) and remove seeds
- stuff peppers with meat mixture, making meatballs out of any leftovers
- add peppers and meatballs to pot
- pour in tomato juice, soup and add 1 large tomatoe juice can of water to mix
- cook on stove for 30 minutes, or until meatballs look done
- add sugar and then cook 10-15 minutes more
- add sour cream and cook for about 5 more minutes
I appologize that this recipe isn't more specifice on some of the directions, but use your best intuition. After all, this recipe came before people actually measured alot of things... :)
